Domain Management

This is a guide to support consistency with domain name management where Lincolnshire Scouts supports this.


All domains paid for by the County must be registered on TSO Host and the DNS Managed through the Microsoft 365 Admin Portal. The contact information for the domain will be the IT Support Team, Lincolnshire Scouts.


Any changes to any domain settings (other than general maintenance) must be requested by the Trustees of the domain Group/District.


If a domain is not being used for e-mail or a website, they will be cancelled.


Guidance for others:

Domain names should be registered in a way that means that should volunteers move on (for whatever reason), the domain remains accessible by the organisation. This is where the County can support by ensuring you maintain the appropriate access and management.
