Pecks Drove Campsite

Pecks Drove Scout Campsite, situated on the outskirts of Spalding in Lincolnshire, is a Scout campsite managed by the South Holland District Scouts. Nestled within the flat landscapes of the Fens, the campsite offers an expansive and accessible environment ideal for traditional Scouting activities. The site is equipped to host a variety of engaging pursuits, including archery, rifle shooting, and water-based activities like kayaking and canoeing. A notable feature is "The Black Hole," an adventurous obstacle course that challenges participants' agility and teamwork skills. The campsite's open spaces and natural surroundings provide an excellent setting for both educational and recreational experiences.

In recent years, dedicated volunteers have undertaken significant efforts to improve the site. Projects have included the reconstruction of the toilet and shower facilities, enhancement of the perimeter fencing, and general site maintenance to ensure safety and comfort for all visitors. These improvements reflect the community's commitment to providing a welcoming and functional space for youth development and outdoor education.
